Objectives
To create an interactive web site that allows artists to engage in an ongoing visual art dialogue based upon a set of established game rules

Specifically, the images designed by a graphics firm needed to be put into a web-presentable form that was compatible with the complex database-driven application (Cocoon) that powers the site.

Solutions
The design used the artistic principles that are central to the art game to create a strong unified look. Illustrations and flash diagrams were used extensively to convey the rules and principles of the game. A registration system and innovative navigation grid, integrated with a database for storing artists’ contributions, were created.
